POEM OF THE WEEK

______________________

We See What We See

We saw the war

We saw the storm

We saw the gore

and much, much more.

We saw the purple

We saw the floods

We saw the poor

and much, much more.

We saw the hope

We saw the scope

We saw the lore

and much, much more.

Tammy D. Thompson " I've written a lot of poetry, but when my step-dad died, my heart was breaking and I wrote more.  I'll never forget him."

This poem is dedicated to my second dad who passed away Sept. 26, 2005.  He always treated everyone with love and respect.  He knew what life was all about.  He treated me like I was his own daughter.  I never felt second best.  His influence on me will last a lifetime.  So to Rodney Mack Boren, I'll always remember your loving nature and I'll never forget what you taught me about life.  You always lead me down the right path.  I love you dad...Tammy
